The purpose was to use engagement with music and mark-making as a stimulation for creative enquiry and to support childminders in feeling able to support children's creative journeys with confidence. This video shows two of the childminders' responses to the project.

Catching Time

During Summer 2019, I was touring with Band At The End Of The World and spending a long time being driven along motorways. I started to take long exposure photographs from the car window of the side of the motorway and the scrub beyond. I soon became fascinated by the idea that these images contained too much information. Even though the amount of pixels may stay the same, if the car is travelling at 70 mph and the shutter speed is open between 2,5 and 5 seconds, each image can contain around 130 yards of information.
